Parkinson’s disease is a disorder of the central nervous system that affects parts of the body controlled by the nerves. Parkinson’s symptoms start slowly and often with a tremor in one hand. Symptoms worsen as the condition progresses.

Parkinson’s disease symptoms may include:

  • Slow movement
  • Stiffness
  • Speech and writing changes
